SIRI Gaibandha Foundation

“SIRI Gaibandha Foundation” runs as a social entrepreneurial programme to support to women handicraft entrepreneurs. SIRI linked entrepreneurs with local, regional and national markets to increase their product selling rate at profitable prices. Analysing current shopping trends of targeted customers, Handicraft opened an online social media page to recover the sales rate of rural entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs who have smart devices and internet access are linked to various famous Facebook Groups, Pages with the support of Handicraft. They are introduced to digital marketing and operating smart devices. Some of them also become part of the digital marketing chain. This initiative scalesup Handicrafts Entrepreneurs do not have access to the supply chain as well as digital marketing. At present, a total of 854 female Handicraft Entrepreneurs are working in the rural areas of Saghata Upazila.
